sometime in 2010.

Jordan Flight 45 High

give up and only put out original
colorways..who's with me. The Air Jordan
45 pics have been released. No words on
when these will get released. I hope they
never see the day of light...

Bordeaux Stylings!

Unfortunately, you will not see these get
any kind of general release.
Maybe if someone twists JB's arm.
This pair was made in 2001, but Nike
instead decided to release the Raptors in 2002.
This sample pair, however, is up for bidding on eBay.

Air Jordan Spiz'ike - Mars Blackmon Edition

Check out what's dropping in January of 2010.
I've always been a fan of this particular hybrid,
and this colorway doesn't disappoint.
Spike Lee has been connected to the Jordan
brand in some way or another since the 1980's,
whether it was the Jordan IV's in Do The Right Thing,
or the Mars Blackmon ad campaign, so it's nice to see the
JB paying tribute to him.

Shepard Fairey x Michael Jordan

In honor of MJ's induction into the Hall of Fame,
Shepard Fairey will be creating a series of
posters marking the most pivotal moments/images
of Michael Jordan's career. Fairey became much
more of a household name after designing that now
iconic Barack Obama campaign poster, and these are
guaranteed to be fresh. Look out for more on this,
right here on the Sole Mentality blog.

local retail stores.

Air Jordan 2009 Unveiled

Air Jordan 2009 brings new concepts of design,
performance, and style not available in the market.
The shoe introduces Articulated Propulsion Technology
APT), a revolutionary heel system inspired by the carbon
fiber prosthetic used by Paralympians and developed to allow
an explosive forward movement. The heel is also split,
which ensures superior responsiveness by keeping at least
one half of the heel in contact with the ground at all times.

The polished design of the Air Jordan 2009 shoe complements
its performance elements. The design technique of blown glass
inspired the TPU chassis on the outsole. Using this method, each shoe is individually unique and guarantees the ultimate limited edition
experience: a one-of-one collection.

The shoes were designed by Chicago-native Jason Mayden,
subtle design touches include ties back to Michael Jordan’s
legacy that include heel detail references Michael Jordan’s
statue in front of the Chicago Bulls’ United Center:
The left shoe reads “Greatest there ever was,” and the right,
“Greatest there ever will be.”

A special edition of the Air Jordan 2009 will release on January
31st for $230 with a wider public release to follow on February 14th for $190
