President Obama Inauguration and Address

For the individuals like me that
missed this important event in
history, here it goes for you

Inauguration

Tomorrow President-Elect Barack Obama
will be sworn into office. Many say that
this will be a historic moment, as he is
the first African-American to be the
44th president of the United States
of America. It couldn't fall after a great
day. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream, and
Obama is living the Dream. Make sure you
watch the inauguration tomorrow at 11 am
est. Lets change America one day at a time!

"We're On Solid Footing..."

This is a sneaker blog, and we would be ducks
if we didn't cover EVERY aspect of the shoe game,
including hurling them at the foreign leader visiting your country.

Just epitomizes how mad Bush makes people.
So mad, that white people voted in a Black man
instead of his clone *rimshot*.
I'm surprised he dodged that first one though.

Obama would've blocked the shoe and posted up for
the rebound after the second one missed.
Dick Cheney would’ve shot him
(and the guy next to him, "accidentally"),
Karl Rove would’ve had him arrested,
and Anne Coulter would’ve called him a “stupid liberal”,
and then point out that stupid and liberal are redundant.

I'm here all night folks.

A day where I can already feel change is coming.
Like Obama says, no matter what ethnicity, color,
religion, sexual orientation, we must all come together.
Obama will challenge the minds of all of us.
I'm just looking forward to the Hope, Progress and Change

"We Ain't Got No Hook For This..."

I'm gonna put myself out there and agree with the following statement:

When presidential politics provoked Barack Obama to disavow the minister who filled in the holes created by Obama's irresponsible biological father, it confirmed in my mind that Obama's message of political change wouldn't stretch nearly far enough to meet my standard of courage and honesty.

“It sickens me that we are forced to pretend Obama doesn't have the ability to associate with and even love people with extreme, illogical views, denounce those beliefs in words and deed and remain a rational, fair-minded person. For decades, black people have supported and respected elected white officials who were raised by unrepentant racists, and we are expected to take those white politicians at their word that their parents' views don't interfere with their motivation to be fair.

“Hmm. But now I'm supposed to believe that a half black man who owes his entire existence to his white mama and grandparents is a threat to America because his old black minister can't get over the racism he tasted first-hand.

Anywho, it's about time we hear from dead prez again:

"I Don't Know What The Unexpected Will Be..."

SNL is on POINT during the election season. So much so, I wish it was year round. Like someone else noted (as well as myself on facebook), the debate itself is so funny, they don't even need to alter the script that much. I mean, "That One"??? Come on, John.

"In My Own Lane, I Move Like McCain's Shoulders"

I think I get some weird kind of entertainment from watching these Presidential debates. Whether it's from counting buzz words, or counting McCain's shoulder movements.

But I don't know why. Oh well, until I figure it out, watch along with me.
