Throwback Thursday..

I know it's a little late than usual,
but like they say it's better late
than never. Today throwback is the
Converse Aero Jam sported by Larry
Johnson back in the days. These are
the first of two signatures shoes that
he had.The shoe featured the cushioning
and support system REACT juice in the heel
and around the back of the ankle.

I bet a lot of you rememeber them by the nickname
"Grandmama" as well as appear on the Family Matters.
So today video is a snippet of the episode he appeared on!

Throwback Thurday

The Nike Air Carnivore was released in 1993. The Air Carnivore was one of the most technical cross training shoes of its time utilizing a perforated Neoprene boot and a series of straps to create a secure fit without laces. Though the name of the shoe is the Air Carnivore, ironically, the shoe is technically vegetarian making use of synthetic Durabuck on the panels that appear to be leather.

Throwback Thursday

It's Throwback Thursday and what we try to aim for is
Educate you on a pair of old school kicks and also put a throwback
Video with it. To start off our first throwback thursday, it's only
right to pay homage to the sneaker that started it all for most people:

Nike Air Jordan 1

The Air Jordan I was first released in 1984, the original colorway Black / Red was banned by the NBA in 1985. The League said they were too colorful, they needed more white, well what they didn't know was when they banned them they started a shoe buying frenzy. 22+ styles later Air Jordan's continue to sell out. Notice the swoosh on the sides, the AJ I was the first and the last Jordan shoe to have the swoosh on the side other than the swoosh in the Logo that appears on the back, or the bottoms, and/or tongue.

The Old school video of the day is De La Soul- Me, Myself, & I
